FLOW: 932 cfs in Carbondale 

WATER CONDITIONS: High but dropping quickly... As you might have noticed, clarity on all of our rivers is improving!

OVERALL RATING: 5 out of 10 

FOOD SOURCES PRESENT: Caddis, BWOs, Midges, Stonefly nymphs, cranefly larva, green drake and PMD nymphs

THE LOW DOWN: The Crystal is improving daily and dropping fast.  Clean water but still slightly high.

HATCHES: Midges sz 20-22, BWOs 18-20, Caddis 14-18

APPROPRIATE PATTERNS: 

NYMPHS: Copper John 18-20, Tung Pheasant Tail 18-20, Cat Poop Stone 6-10, Prince Nymph 16-18 

DRIES: Flag Adams 18-22, Hi Vis Griffiths Gnat 18, Skittering Zelon Midge 20, Ethawing Caddis 16-18, Parachute Adams 16-18 

HINTS: Fish the upper reaches near Redstone and especially Marble if you are seeking the most fishable water.
