FLOW: 1700 cfs in Glenwood Springs

WATER CONDITIONS: Starting to cool off, a bit mossy

OVERALL RATING:  7 out 10

FOOD SOURCES PRESENT: Baetis, Midges, Yellow Sallies, PMDs, caddis, sculpins

THE LOW DOWN:  It's been pretty mossy on the Colorado but hopefully we see it dissipate as we start to cool off. 

We're still seeing PMDs and caddis out there, and there should be a resurgence of BWOs in the coming weeks as fall temperatures cool us down. Streamer fishing is turning up too!

HINTS: If the fish aren't eating deep, shallow up those nymph rigs and see if they're suspended.
