FLOW: 2485 IN GLENWOOD SPRINGS
WATER CONDITIONS: Pretty clean most days, fishing quite well as we head into fall.
OVERALL RATING: 7 out of 10. This big river will test your angling skills!
FOOD SOURCES PRESENT: Caddis, midges, Blue Winged Olives, a few tricos here and there
THE LOW DOWN: The Colorado has really been improving visibility-wise and fishing-wise. We are seeing hatches of caddis and BWOs. This is one of the best times of year to fish this river, and some excellent streamer fishing is now on our doorstep.
HATCHES: Caddis 16-18, BWOs 18-20, tricos 20-24, midges 18-24
