COLORADO RIVER REPORT (Glenwood Springs west to Rifle)

July 17, 2018

FLOW: 2000 cfs in Glenwood Springs

WATER CONDITIONS:  Low and clear

OVERALL RATING:  0 out of 10 We recommend fishing the upper Roaring Fork versus the Colorado right now. Carp fishing is an exception, but all outfitters are off this river completely by 2pm.

THE LOW DOWN: Warm water has taken over as of now on the Colorado.  We are not fishing the Colorado commercially or on our days off until conditions improve.  We strongly encourage the fishing public to follow suit.  If and when our afternoon monsoons resume this will hopefully change!
