FLOW: 90 cfs in Carbondale 

WATER CONDITIONS: Clean and low.

OVERALL RATING: 7 out of 10 

FOOD SOURCES PRESENT: BWOs, midges

THE LOW DOWN: Low and clear!  No need to overthink this river, tie on an attractor dry and dropper and hit all the soft water.  This beautiful river seems to fish best at it's upper and lower points, around Carbondale or up in Redstone through Marble.

HATCHES: Midges 20-22, BWOs 18-20

APPROPRIATE PATTERNS:

NYMPHS: Copper John 18-20, Tung Pheasant Tail 18-20, Prince Nymph 16-18, Jerome Baetis 18-20, JuJu Baetis 18-22

DRIES: Flag Adams 18-22, Hi Vis Griffiths Gnat 18, Skittering Zelon Midge 20, Parachute Adams 16-18 

HINTS: Skip the average water and focus on deep pits and runs.
